The background of My Workplace part 2

If you have read the post underneath this one then you, the reader, will know that I am currently a slave of McDonald's. Yes, you heard me correctly, A SLAAAAAVVVEEEE. But I don't want to get ahead of myself or this post will be fruitless and world domination will be no closer. Anyways, for those who don't work at some torture house or slave market(AKA, fast food resturants), I thought I would enlighten you on the general workers layout. From least to greatest there are the:

Crew. Or other known as the despendable crew. This, my friend is where I am rated. This is the lowest of the low ranking at fast food restaurants. It is very easy to become a crew member. Just go to a local fast food joint, pick up a application, sign away your life, get a interview, then the orientation and then your hired. Simple as that. It's like breeding hamsters, once the process is started it just keeps going and going until there is literally thousands that are getting hired and fired daily across America. The crew does not get any respect. Its like once you hired on your considered dog poop that is stuck between the crevices on the bottom of your shoe. All and all, if your just a plain crew member then your a slave. Plain and simple.

The Crew Trainer: is basically like a slave driver. They act like they are big and important but in reality their not. Granted, they do get to boss the crew around and.....and.....boss crew around. Well, they do train the new crew that are recently hired on. If you consider the cat of nine tails a way of training.

The Manager: Now we are getting to the major authority. Managers are like mini godfather, they tell the crew what to do and expect it to be done. And if it isn't done, you'll be finding yourself swimming with the fishes or washing the dishes. That is the attitude of most managers, they will literally stand around and tell crew stuff to do that they themselves won't even do if their life depended on it. I do have to admit there are some exceptional ones who see to it that things are done in a orderly way. But if I was to put the bad and the good of managers in a ratio then it would look lime this: 100000000/.0000000000001.

And there you have it. That is how fast food restaurants usually are now days. I won't go into the store managers position or the headhunter(corporate) role cause I'm truly afraid of them. Their consider god of the store and I would have the wrath of them upon my head if I talk against them and expose the truth. Well, that is all for now but do be looking for part 3. I just can't think of anymore complaints right now. Until then, I will slowly work toward world domination.

  1. Hi MB,

Wow, I never knew Ronald McD was such a rough character. You have my sympathy, as well as my suspicions. Hope the world domination thing works out for you.

Say hello to the Mad Hatter if you see him.
